We went to visit Patken and love their work. My big concern is that their package only includes one photographer. Do I need to have two photographers, one for traditional and one for photojournalism?
Let me know your thoughts!
TIA!!

Re: Patken Girls...Are you having...
From my understanding, one photographer can shoot both traditional & photojournalism. Depending upon who you get, they may choose to have an assistant, but no need for two photographers.

That's great to know...I was thinking the same thing
Thanks for the insight.....the reason for my concern is because we went to B rett M atthews and they showed us all of these photojournalist pictures that were taken by one photographer, while the other photographer was setting up the traditional pictures. (Lining up the bridesmaids, families etc.) I just don't want to miss out on capturing certain moments and let's face it, one person can't be in two places at once :) That said, I still love Patkens pictures!!
Never thought picking a photographer would be so hard!!!!

Re: Patken Girls...Are you having...
I know what you mean....I got nervous too because all the others that we saw mentioned two photographers - one for regular and one for photojournalism. FH pointed out that there was also an additional fee for the additional person. From what I have seen with Patken the photographers all seem to have a good handle on both and I feel very confident that Steve will give us what we want. All of the proofs I have seen from other brides have a great variety.

I used Vinny for my wedding and he worked by himself. He did a fantastic job of getting both traditional and photojournalistic shots.
