Currently we have one photograher with PATKEN... if we upgrade our DJ package and get the plasmas TVs they provide a photograhper who takes pictures thoughout the night that we get to keep (DJ upgrade is $1000). So between the photographer and DJ we'd have 2 photographers.
I'm thinking... i wonder how much it'll cost to add a second photographer with PATKEN over the DJ... Does anyone have more then one photographer for their wedding? Do you think you need more then one photographer be able to capture all the pictures i want?

I have one photog, 2 videographers, and the DJ zap shots as you do. I think it's totally enough.

We have 2 photographers, no zap shots and no videographer.
you definitely need 2 imho, especially without a videographer.

I dont know what your getting with Patken, but I went in and talked to a photographer and he said he would do it all.... aka take all pics and do zaps all by himself. I think hes crazy as hell but says thats the way hes been doing it for a while. Also they quoted me for the 2 plasmas and zaps pretty well if going with a decent package. They will budge on price with this. totaly worth it since it an actual photographer and not a DJ's photographer. And you would get some at home shots too!

I only had 1 Patken photog and the zap shots.
In the end we got 835 edited proofs in albums and on a disc from Patken and a disk of a couple hundred images from the reception from the zap shot photog.
The quality of the zap shots are good but nothing like a professional photographer.
I feel our Patken photog got everything we needed - if anything was missing (which isn't all that much) I take blame for not including it on my must take photo list but I also think this is just going to happen with the flow and craziness of the day.
I liked having the zap shots b/c they were pics i got right after the wedding so that was fun to look through.
