Anyone had any issues with Patken in Lindenhurst. I did not . But my friend is...they are giving her the run around about her proofs. Something like they are retouching, and they are just really busy.
My proofs were ready before I came back for my honeymoon. They have been giving her the run around for almost two weeks.

it may not be just a 'run around' -- sometimes they need to do color retouching. my weeks were delayed a week for that reason. it happens.
my friend used patken--and she waited about 6 wks for her proofs. some ppl have gotten them in 3 or 4 wks or even sooner. i think each photographer is different.
how long has she been waiting?

She has been waiting about two weeks.
It only took two weeks for mine to come in, so maybe the photographer did not do that much retouching.

They are good, I just posted a few proofs I have on my review, look in the Brides Review section. I got mine right away, she did not. She also used a different photographer then I did. So maybe he works differently?

I think each persons proofs are different and I don't think 2 weeks is unreasonable at all.
I used them and I don't know exactly how long it took but I know it took at least 2-3 weeks, maybe even a month but I's not sure. Whatever it was I didn't even think about it and once I saw my proofs I know why it took as long as it did. My pictures came out amazing and a major part of that was because they sat down with each and every picture and edited whatever they needed to.
I don't think your friend has anything to worry about. They are a very reputable company and their work is worth waiting for.

Man when I worked for a wedding photographer you were lucky to get your proofs back in a month maybe even two months was really the average.

yeah, i wouldn't stress yet. It hasn't been that long in my opinion
