Patken Info

Hey there,

Has anyone seen Patken's work? I looked at the website and it seems like there work is more unique than traditional. I am looking for a fun and unique photographer...any suggestions?

Re: Patken Info

We booked Patken. I like the work I saw and the fact that we could build our own package since our needs are the 'pre-made package' type. If you are interested I would suggest you go meet with them. I'm happy with my experience so far.

Although I did not book with them, I loved their work!!! They are very contemporary and the photographers have a really good eye. You should definitely make an appointment with them!!

We did book them at first because we love there work but money has been a big issue so we went with Duet b/c they give you more for your $$, but Patken is still great and contemporary.

Re: Patken Info

I just made an appointment to meet with Patken. What about Duet...are they more on the edgy side? I tried finding their website and can't seem to locate it. Can you give me some contact info for them so I could check them out too. Thanks!!

Re: Patken Info

I actually felt that Patken's work was VERY traditional. In fact, when I met with them, that's what they told me. I did not think their work was what it appeared to be on their website. That's not saying it was not good, it just was not the style they presented when I looked at the site. I would meet with them and see what you think in person. They are very nice, just not my style.

Re: Patken Info

I saw alot of photographers and even booked Patken until I found Duet on this website. They are so great my video and pics are less than $4,000, they give you 2 photographers so they can shoot traditional and photo-journalistic pics at the same time, B&W is included, you get 500 proofs, special coloring is included ( B&W w/ color accents), I think its 30 pics in album, 2 parent albums 18 pics a piece, video w/ 3 DVD's and I'm sure there is more that I cant think of. Definetly check them out. They were the only ones that FI was impressed with.
