Patken or Pro Line

Please help me decide !!!1

I'm using Patken. They happen to be down the street form my house. I also know people that have used them. I just love their work. Some people like/dislike. Why don't u make appointments with both places and see which one you feel more comfy with. Good luck

We met with both, and went w/ Patken, hands down. Pro Line had a better price, but the cost of the extras (little things like sepia or color splash) were already factored in to the Patken price. Also, for us, Patken was way more personalized rather than a wedding photo factory. We were happy w/our choice, then after having our epics, we were beyond happy. With Pro Line, the person who took your epics would most likely NOT be your photog on your wedding day. With Patken, our epic photog will be our wedding day photog, and we're very happy about that. As for quality, Patken beat every other photog we saw, hands down.

I went to Patken and was turned off by their sales tactic. However, Vinnie shot my friend's wedding last month and let me tell you, her proofs are absolutely gorgeous. And he was a pleasure to deal with all day. After dealing with him and seeing her pictures, I would whole heartedly recommend Patken. If they will allow you, request Vinnie (but make sure its in your contract b/c they tried to pull a fast one on my friend).

not crazy about patken. they shoot in jpeg and most of their pics in the magazine album are not as clear as other photographers. for the money they ask, i would say try other photographers before you make a decision. huge difference.

ETA: try george from right angle. he's very hands on and has competitive prices. he even goes so far as to recommend your hair and make-up for the wedding day...which will photograph well.

just give him a try....i'm sure you'll see a huge difference!

I used Pro Line for my wedding and they did an amazing job. I actually met with Patken too and loved both of them but I liked Pro Line better.

I have to say my album came out beautiful!

I think either way you will be in good hands!

I have to disagree with what was said about Patken. Being that I used them and have my album already, I can say that every picture in my magazine album was perfectly clear.

no problemo. that's why we have this site. for multiple opinions. not everyone can feel the same way about everyone

Exactly! While I love how my brothers pictures with Proline came out, I would still recommend Patken over Proline. Guess I am bias

I used Patken! I had vinne. Just updated my review and there are some 'Proofs' in my album. I was VERY happy with their work.
(I dont know how Im going to choose pics for my album )

We are using ProLine....They do amazing work....
I know of 3 people who used them and I have never heard any complaints.....My sister used them and her pics and albums were awesome

my friend got their video and swears by their photos (but her uncle is a photographer so she didn't use them). I saw george from right angle and fell in love! thomas paul is also amazing!!! there are so many good photographers out there...it's just a matter of searching and being patient to look everywhere. IMO it's a matter of personal preference. good luck in your search.

PATKEN!! In the past year, Patken has taken pics at my sister's, my Best Friend's, and my FH Niece's wedding....they are also doing our pics for our upcoming wedding. I'm sure other places are great but just from experience, the guys at Patken are amazing..very talented and their work is outstanding...make an appointment to speak with someone at the very least...good luck:)
