Patken Photograhy 09 crasher /Proofs question

I signed with Patken I love them , Im just concerned about one thing.....How many proofs did you get? I keep hearing my friends got 1000 at other photographers and I feel like Patken told me something like 300 I looked at the contract and it says nothing about the number of proofs?

Please help

i was told 375 but actually ended up with a little over 400. Give them a call and ask!

Did you find that was enough? did they take more than that and pick through them?

I just couldnt imagine looking through more than a couple hundred shots ...

i was told 300 ( winter wedding - no photography location in between ) and got almost 600!

I thought it was perfect and he really only missed one or two things that i could think of

Actually...yes! After we were married almost a year and ordered all of our prints, they gave us the disk with ALL of the pictures. I never counted but it was more than I got in my proof album. (over 400)

we were told min of 300, and we got 439. we had more than enough to choose from. from what i understand, they also take more pics than that, but they take out what are the 'bad' pics so you don't have to. it's much easier to go through 425 pics than it is to go through 1000 pics. it was hard enough narrowing down the # of pics for our album w/ only 439, nevermind over 1000.
