i'm not a patken bride, but what i plan to do is send sample pics to my photographer (with brief descriptions of what i like don't like about each picture) along with an invite. i'll touch base with him soon after and talk about what i sent. a week or so before my wedding we'll recap again what was discussed, and on the day of i may have an 'emergency list' handy

We plan on going over with him when we hand in pic for the video, meet with him about month before wedding.

Hi. I'm a Patkin bride.
Our photographer said that we will get together about a month to a month and a half before the wedding and hash it out. I'll bring my list of must haves then.

WOW they never told me to do that!!!!
When we booked, we s/w Doug. He said that we would meet before the wedding with the photographer so that there was no confusion the day of the wedding and we got everything we wanted. He made it sound like it was several times. I like to get things taken care of in advance so I asked our photographer after our engagement picture (thinking that there were a few appointments) and that's what he said.

when we intially met with patken they told us that we should meet with them a month before and discuss how we want the pictures.. they also encouraged going to the engagement shoot session so that you could get comfortable with the photographer(make sure you like him and that he takes pictures the way you like)

we had Patken and I truly wish they would have suggested we get together a month before..I called several times and they kept telling me my photographer would call the week of, he did but briefly, maybe they have since swiched how they do things. Definately meet with them and be very specific..give himyoru lista nd possibly show him ideas of what you like. They are a talented crew over there...just be specific! best of luck!
