Has anyone ever used photographers at Patken other than Doug, Steve and Nick? I went to them today and I need some feedback. I met w/ Doug and liked what he had to offer, but you don't choose your actual photographer until after you book with them. Also, Nick is not available on my wedding date. I'd love some help. Thanks!

What I did was I sat there with DH and looked at their albums. We then took the ones we liked and put them aside and I said, i want this photographer..and got it in writing.
I used Steve.

I met with Patken as well and really liked them. I have only heard of a few guys from these boards but I am sure they are all ok. Doug said he trained them all. They are my top choice right now.

VINNY...... they tell you that they pick the photographer, but you can tell them you want to pick him and have them put it in the book

What made you both choose Vinny over the other photographers? Just curious. Do you know anyone who has used him already and got their pictures back?

when i booked, no one had chosen there photographer yet and they were all free... i was tossed between vinny and steve...(dougs good but extra money)...
so i did a search for both of them, and found review, pictures etc... i thought my fiances personality would just fit with vinny(steve is called a god on here ) and liked his pictures... lisaT's wedding pictures came out pretty with him, then we took out e-photos with him and we were both so comfortable and laughing. he actually got my fiance to smile in photos(which is rare for posedphotos)..
