Patken vs Duet Photographers

Who would you recommend?

Also what was included in your package, and price?

i saw them both.. i would recommend duet out of the two.. there work is great!

If you dont mind spending a little more money, Patken is the way to go! Its a little pricier but their work is worth it!

I am using Patken and what I've seen so far I really like. I know people who have used them in the past and they have all been really happy. I don't know much about Duet.

We went to both today.

We loved Duet - they have a great eye and we are really interested in photojournalism. We also liked that there were 2 photographers.

However...

When we looked at Patken's work - we were FLOORED! We felt that the quality was just a lot better. For about the same price we got about the same as we would have at Duet minus the 2nd photog. In FH's words 'Patken's product is more sophisticated' I have to agree.

I think I'd be happy with either. I'd narrowed it down to the 2 just from research online... FH really made the decision on Patken.

I'm incredibly picky when it comes to photographers.... incredibly!

I went to both and we liked Duet so much better. Once you get over the language problem with Eric at Duet he is so willing to work with you and every time I asked for something they threw it in. Patken felt very cold to me and FH said he would book anyone but them because of it.

We didnt look into patken bc we knew we wanted duet from 2 friends previous wedding photos. They were amazing.. Agree that there is a little language barrier but eric is great to work with. Most importantly we love how the work they did us on our e-pics..... Im sure patken is good tho also.. good luck in choosing

both are great. my sister used Patken and they did a great job. i'm using Duet. i wanted them because they are more artisy.

we didnt meet w,patken but i know ppl how have used them n loved them., I choice DUET., there work is awesome and you get 2 photographeres, eric works on price n packages and i havnt heard one negitve thing about them yett..... HTH

Patken came very recommended ....3 of my cousins used them, and the art teacher where I work also used and recommended them...When we met with them I wasn't disappointed. We booked soon after seeing them and have since gone for EP pics...which came out GREAT!

We booked with Duet.. we felt we were able to get a great mix of photojournalistic and traditional pictures with them and there work is beautiful
..Meeting with Patken we weren't as confident that we would get both.. many of their pictures were very photojournalistic and some a little over the top for our taste
