We are using Imagine - we love their work. Their work is very artistic and photojournalistic...which is what we were looking for. We also think Lia is great to work with!

We looked at both and felt that their work was similar. We chose Patken because Imagine was a bit pricey. My friedn also used Patken and her pictures were amazing.....both do great work though

Two friends of mine have used Patken.. saw their proof albums and thought they were awesome.
They do wonderul Black and White pics

I checked out both Patken and Imagine and fell in love with Imagine immediately. Yes, they are a tad more expensive than Patken, but Lia's work and personality was far superior to Patken (IMO) And Imagine's albums are flawless. But, of course, I may be a bit biased...

Me too!!! We met w/both people. However, I did meet w/Patken first and loved their work, but the girl we met w/ was not very personable. I seemed like we were intruding. Yet, Imagine, we personally met w/our photographer and we just clicked right from the start. I think Imagine is my favorite vendor. We are so exciting to be working w/Lia.

We are using Patken.. I haven't heard any negetive reviews and their work and price was right for us.

The sales lady at Patken is AWFUL! I can't believe they even let her work there. I refused to even deal with her after having to deal with her a couple of times.

I honestly had the opposite...well FH. He was in charge of calling the photographers to set up meetings and he was so turned off by how rude the person at Imagine was. When he asked to make an appt she immediately asked if he had seen the price list and were we 'sure we could afford them.' Honestly...it bothered him so much that he cancelled the appt and refused to go near them. This was the only bad experience we had with any of the photographers we saw. In the end we both chose Patken because we loved their work and we are both so excited to be working with Steve! I have heard a couple people say that the sales person they dealt with was rude but I swear I never had that problem. I even called the other day and no problem.

I choose Patken. I made an appointment with Imagine but they told me I had to use them for photo and video. I really wanted to use Amore Productions for my video so I didn't go to my appointment for Imagine. My brother used Patken and his pictures came out amazing.

Girls I have a huge and very important question...the terrible, awful woman from Patken that you are speaking about-- which of their offices is she from?? I definitely would love to go with them, but would LOVE to avoid this woman!! Please let me know..I have an appt. with them on Wed.

Hey ccraz we went to the Mineola office and there was not a woman in that office. We loved Patken and are still waiting to meet with Imagine and then will decide. Go with who you feel comfortable with. Kevin from Patken in the Mineola office is great!! FH and I will be there Wed night to meet with Soundcheck Entertainment to book our band!

When I went to see Patkin in Mineola there was a lady there, I think she is a photographer, she might even be the owners wife, i didn't think she was bad though, I went twice and she seemed very sweet both times i had no problems with her.
I wasn't crazy about Imagine, I didnt like the idea of no assistant, i know they are a small husband/wife company but i felt is heaven forbid one is sick then what...i just didnt feel so comfortable with them..

I've seen many pics from both companies, and I think Imagine is on a whole different level. I definitely prefer their style.

We just got married on Saturday and used Imagine. Lia and Nelson were awesome. They are so wonderful to work with. Everything was perfect!
