Hi ladies...once again I need your help! I love the style of both of these photographers and their price quotes are similar. I have reservations about Patken only because they send 1 photographer. I'm worried about a low # of proofs. Has anyone worked with these vendors and have any positive or negative experiences they could share/FM me? TIA!

I used Steve from Patken and he was amazing. I had just under 1,000 proofs.

That's good to know! I've heard a lot of great things about Steve. I've heard of a big discrepancy between the # of pics the photographers take. I've heard a range of 450-1000 so that's what makes me a little nervous.
Did you feel like Patken captured everything that was important? Nohthing missing? Sorry to be asking so many questions, but I'm aiming to book this weekend. Thank you!

I used Thomas Paul and I just adore him! I haven't gotten my proofs yet so I can attest to that yet but he has been nothing short of amazing to work with.

Steve did not miss a thing. I actually think that sometimes you are better off with only one photographer. I feel like when there are two photographers there is more chance at missing something because each photographer thinks the other one got the shot!
I would not be so worried with the amount of proofs. What is important is the quality of the proofs that you have. I have seen some photographers (not the two you are asking about) that give more proofs but they are just the same shot with different coloring or slight variation of the next.
Honestly I have seen both Thomas Paul's work and Patken and I think you cant go wrong with either one!.

TP all the way!!!! Honestly though I know nothing about Patken other than Ive heard nothing but good things about them but TP has wonderful customer service and is so down to earth! He always returns my calls and checks in to see how things are!
