Paul's 18 Month Doctor Visit

Can you believe this kid is 18 months old already?? I am in SHOCK!

Anyway, he's doing GREAT! The doctor said he is 'advanced!' As IF Mommy didn't know that already!

He is 33 1/2 inches tall and ONLY 23 3/4 lbs.! My Mom said she wants to fatten him up! Really, he's got meat on his bones, but he is very lean....I just cannot believe that he is STILL under 25 lbs.!

He had 3 shots today - all were follow-ups to shots he's had before. I delayed the MMR vaccine, b/c with flu season starting, I just don't want his immune system weakened right now AND I feel he is too young for this vaccine. PLUS, since he is not a daycare child, the doctor even said that it's not really an issue. If I were to go back to work and put Paul in daycare, he'd have to get his MMR prior to starting the daycare. I can cross that bridge when I get to it!

My BIG BOY does not go back to the Dr. for another well visit until he's TWO years OLD!

Claud my sister's little boy is small too. He's just lean by nature I think....they are always telling her to fatten him up, and he just eats and eats and kinda stays nice and trim! My sister always says she wishes it would rub off on her!

He is getting to be a big boy....sounds like mommy wouldn't mind a little newborn again......

Jenny - you are RIGHT...Mommy is definitely getting 'the itch' really bad...especially w/all these new babies being born around me...but, Mommy is just not ready to go through it again yet

I still remember you e-mailing me that you were really tired and just wanted to leave work and go home and sleep and my reaction was 'are you pregnant'

I cannot believe he is growing up SOOO fast!
And I plan on delaying the same vaccine, daycare or not. I am too nervous about that one.

wow, 18 months already (must mean we're nearing our 18 month anniversary as he was born right before our wedding!)
