It's been a week since I've signed up for this website and i'm loving it so far. let's just keep the drama out of everything because we are all here for pretty much the same reasons. There's gonna be people on here that we're more compatible with personality wise, but we're a community so let's just keep that our focus.
I totally agree with you....but I also think that people shouldn't worry about what others are doing or where they are posting. Its a board for brides, how cares what year they are getting married. Should I make a name with 09 on the end just to talk on the 09 board if I want to respond to something?? NO Its just a stupid number.
So lets enjoy the site and keep RUDE opinions to ourselves!!

Wow you guys, thanks! Special thanks to Sora, LMTF and HallsLady for the compliment! I had a crazy night and it was nice to hear something nice tonight.
Here's how I figure it. I'm going to be using this 2010 board for approximately two years I want to get as much out of it as I can.... My wedding is a very important day to me, and you all are a WONDERFUL resource and I want to put back into it exactly what I'm getting out of it. My momma always told me 'You get out of something exactly what you put into it.' So, I am making an effort to make the 2010 board a pleasant place to be where we can vent, post ideas and just alll obsess about our weddings together

First I'd like to compliment all of you... Each and every one of you has responded to a concern I've had about my wedding -- and I never felt I was being ridiculed or looked down upon. I appreciate all of the feedback I've gotten.
I'd specifically like to compliment stinenandy2010 for being a wonderful BOTW this week. Her questions made me think about a lot this week and I appreciate it.

This is what I mean. One person cannot say anything constructive on here without the four of you jumping in. I This is a public forum, and yes I do know that, so in addition to your already established networks you should try and connect with the PUBLIC. We are here to collaborate and plan with other brides and guess what you ladies have not been doing that. The purpose of the 'Pay a compiliment' thread was to say something nice about someone you only met on here. We have yet to have a g2g but we are learning about each other and evidently we all like what we see. We have two years left on this board, some brides have already been here for a year, and I don't think its wise to start insulting and ganging up on other people. So once again Congratulations for being the first to bring the eye rolling and drama llama picture we all know each others true colors now. Toodles!
On with the thread: Colleen, you are in Florida, but I want compliment you fro being genuinly nice and very inspiring. We shared the same college woes and your prove that we can all make positive changes! Thanks!

First of all this is what started the problem....YOU making a comment that wasn't necessary. If my sis wants to make a compliment on the 2010 board so what. You should have kept your rude thought to yourself. And who are you to say the 4 of us are not here to network with anyone else. We can be here for what ever reasons we want to be and its not up to YOU to decide why we are on the boards. Maybe we don't want to network and we are here to just read the boards and respond. Stop acting like the 2010 chat police and let it go!!! Don't worry about other people so much, its kinda pathetic.

I've been kinda MIA on this site for a few days now and this is the thread I have finally gotten to read...and boy oh boy I am kinda surprised at some of the things I have read, but i admit that it made me chuckle a bit...We all love each other on here, No drama...wait until we have had a few G2G's and get closer to 2010 lol jk!!
Ok compliments: All of my fellow 10-ers I love you all so much for the great ideas and encouraging words. My fellow '10' girls...it was fun when it was just us posting and waiting for everyone to come onto the boards, I thank you girls so much for being as great as you are!!! Personally I have to compliment Janna and Nicole...both of you have been nothing but an incredible person towards me since the beginning, and I am grateful that the two of you signed up for this site the same time I did!! The experience here wouldnt be the same without you.
