I have 9 bridesmaids and am not paying for their gowns. Incidentally, they didn't pay for mine when I was in their wedding and it's not commonly done around here to pay for the bridal party's outfits.. That seems normal to me.
However, I also have one Junior bridesmaid and two flowergirls. Should I pay for the Junior BM and the Flowergirl's dresses? I think yes considering that they aren't as financially comfortable as my bridesmaids and why should I subject their mothers to pay for the dresses when they are actually doing me a favor by being in my wedding. Thoughts?

FH and I are paying for the entire wedding ourselves. I am not paying for my BMs or MOH attire, but I felt obligated to pay for my 2 juniors and my 1 FG...because...they obviously don't work. I didn't want their parents, some of whom are in the wedding party have to incur this expense.

I'm not paying for my FG dresses, but I will be buying them tiaras and paying for them to get their hair done the day of the wedding.

I'm paying for the FG dresses for this reason!!! I thought I was the only one who felt this. Also paying for their hair day of, if they are charged. I am not paying for their shoes or any accessories, but they will get a piece of jewelry as a gift.

We (well, my mom) paid for the fg dresses. You can do it on such a budget though. We went to Burlington and got CUTE dresses for the fg's for $30!! Pics are in my album!

We paid.
When I was a Junior BM, they paid for my dress.
If the parents know any...they will make it up in their gift to you.
