pay for meals for dj/photographer?

Are you supposed to pay for dinner for the photographer/dj/videographer? I don't really know how this works. What about the priest? Don't you just feel like you should keep your wallet open all the time because there's always something else?

video and photographer yes, usually catering hall has a price for vendors. Sometimes it is half price or a set price and if it is a vendor that is a house vendor it could be free. As far as the priest, i have no idea. Is he staying at the reception?

We paid for all of our vendors that worked that night. The priest wasn't invited. But it was photographer, 2 videographers, DJ/MC and percussionist.

we're paying for our 2 photographers and videographer, and DJ. I don't think it would be right to not feed them, they'll be working long hours esp. our photo/video team will be working 12 hours they have to eat.

At Flowerfield we had to feed our vendors. The fee was cheaper then the 'guest' price.

we paid for all our vendors to eat dinner, if your priest is invited to the reception he should be able to eat as well. unfortunately we had to pay full price for our vendors

We are paying for meals for music (4 people) and photographer/videographer (2). We are also inviting the pastor to the reception, so depending on whether she attends or not, we will be paying for hers as well. Our hall gives a discounted price for vendor meals and it is even cheaper if you use recommended vendors -- which our photo/video is, but music isn't.

Check with your hall about pricing on vendors, they usually have a discount. Many vendors say that dinner is not necessary, but I think that it's a nice jesture. The officiant sometimes stays for the CH, but does not need to stay for dinner.

Halls usually have a vendor meal, its the price of the meal sans the cocktail hour food and bar, maybe even the cake.

We had to pay for the for the photographers meals, it was in the contract. But after working five or six hours they deserve a break too.

We have to pay 2/3rds of the regular price I believe.
