Re: paying for bm hair/makeup
I won't be doing this. It's a nice gesture to do it but for every wedding I've been in I've paid for my own.

Becky... first of all... STOP STRESSING!!!! (you're so funny, you haven't changed a bit ).
Second, if you're paying for your girls hair and makeup, that's so generous of you because it can get expensive. And if you *are* doing this, no other gift is necessary, I think. Also, before you commit to doing that, make sure all of your girls will be going with you to the same place where you'll be going to get hair and makeup done. Some girls may prefer to go to their own stylist or do their own makeup... KWIM?

No No No Enjoy your wedding planning. It shouldn't be stressful (well, not all of it ). Don't let things like this stress you out. You either treat them or you don't... simple desicion (and if you decide not to, you get to stress over what to actually get them )...
Basically, if this is something you really want to do, ask your girls if they would mind having their hair and makeup done with you the morning of the wedding, your treat. I've done this (but paid for it myself) and it was a lot of fun to just be hanging out getting pretty with everyone and the bride.

Re: paying for bm hair/makeup
i'm thinking about splitting it with them. b/c i want to pay for it, but i still want to get them gifts. so i think by splitting it, that would help absorb the cost for me

paying for their hair and make up is more than enough. I'm sure they'll be extremely appreciative of that.

Re: paying for bm hair/makeup
im not going to pay for their hair and makeup. instead im paying for their hotel room for that night and buying them their jewelry. it would be too much for hair and makeup.

That's really nice of you to pay for their hair and makeup! I think that if you're doing that, no other gift is necessary. But if you want to get another gift as well, that is very generous of you!

Re: paying for bm hair/makeup
I've been debating this also. Almost all of the weddings I've been in the bride has paid for my hair and makeup. I think it's a nice gesture. I definitely plan on getting them DOJ and maybe i'll just pay for their hair, so I don't go broke! It will be up to them if they want to have their makeup done or do it themselves. I guess it also depends on the price!
