I have a few bridesmaids who seem hesitant about getting their hair and makeup done because of the cost. Is anyone paying for their bridesmaids to get done?

I plan to but I had asked them if they wanted it professionally done or not and they all said yes. My other friend has some pickier bridesmaids so she agreed to pay for the dress and let them handle their own makeup/hair.

I'm paying for their makeup, I don't know about hair becuase I still don't know what I'm doing for my own hair, or who will be doing my hair.

my girlfriend paid for all of our hair.. we payed for our own make up ..but it was still really nice cause it only cost us like $65 instead of 110!! Everyone was getting their hair done so it made sense for her to do just the hair and not the make up! even if you only pay for half..i'm sure the girls would love it.. i plan on contributing for those who want to get both done cause i know being a bridesmaid can get pricey! :)

I am paying for their hair. My sisters and my bff is in my wedding party so that will be the xmas gift.

I didn't pay for hair or make-up... but then again, I did not insist that they get it done.... all of that is so much money when you add it on to the cost of the dress, your shower, etc. etc. I left it up to them... they could either do it themselves or go to the salon with me.
All of BMs ended up getting their hair done at the salon and all but one did their own make-up.

I'm paying for makeup. I'm also paying for my mother and MIL to have their makeup done, because otherwise they wouldn't want to pay for it and I thought it would be nice to make them feel special.

I'm not paying for either hair or makeup. I'm not making them get it done. They can do it themselves if they want, or go to whomever they like to get it done. It's up to them.

I gave them a choice if they were getting hair and make-up done I would pay for the make-up (that was the more expensive) if they only wanted one I would pay for whatever they chose. They all ended up getting there hair and make-up done.
It is a nice gesture to pay for it - if you can.

I paid for their makeup as a gift---they had to pay for their hair. They were happy about it, and it saved them some moolah. I really wanted a professional make up artist for their MU, cause i didn't want them to looked too washed out in pics...and i figured the MU artist would do their make up perfectly for the photographer.

I'm not paying for ours... I already spent too much on their gifts so I'm letting them do whatever they want...if they want.

no. i told them to do their own hair & make-up......put it half up with some curls in it your done...& most of them are doing that,

I paid for four out of my five BM's hair. The fifth has really curly hair and wanted to do her own. They did their own makeup.

I paid for my mom, sister (MOH) and niece (bridesmaid.) I offered to pay for my other two bridesmaids but they go their done by their mom. Yeah, it was a lot of money, but we all looked great, and I don't know if they would have sprung for it.
