Just curious, are you paying for your own wedding, or is family helping you? My FH's family really has no money to help with. My dad offered that he could either pay for the wedding or give us our gift after the wedding. We opted to pay for the wedding ourselves since we are in a positon that we are able to and we'd like to get money after the wedding as gifts that we could put down on a house. What's everyone else doing?
We also thought it would be easier because my dad would probably want to to give approval on everything because he is like that lol...
both FH's parents and my parents are giving us some money, but we will have to pay for the rest.
we are basically paying for it ourselves. My parents will help when they can. like they are helping with the next payment for the photographer. buts FHs parents are helping. I am sure if we asked they would help, but i dont think FH would even want to ask.

I am getting help from both sets of parents but we are paying for the majority of it! I don't think FH knew how expensive a wedding was before he asked me to marry him lol
