Every time I save up enough money to start to make a deposit on any vendors which I haven't so I am kind of freaking out.. That damn RH check is due and I'm screwed...
Also, FH is getting mad that I am planning this wedding. He always said he want to be involved with the planning so I have no issues with that. My issue is when I bring it up, he doesn't give me input and I am stuck on my own planning yet again but he will complain.....I tell him the wedding not going to plan itself and yea we have a year and 10 months... Watch you blink and it will be the day before our wedding.. Ugh Hope everyone has a good day
Sorry I am just venting

Re: Payments?
I am using an excel sheet to keep everything organized.. It really helps alot.. Also The RH is very important try not to stress yourself out.. It is January so hopefully ,maybe when you get your taxes it will help you out alot and you will be able to book the remaining vendors??? - Just enjoy the planning dont let it become too overwhelming because ,it will take the fun out of it

Re: Payments?
Excel is a GODSEND with staying organized. We even put ours on google docs so that way we can both access the latest version no matter what computer we're on.
As for the dilemma about the lack of help, why don't you try and ask him for his input but request he think about it, so that way when he's got some ideas he can come and share them with you. That might make him feel as though he is helping but without feeling pressured. I know my FH is much more willing to come up with ideas when he wants to rather than when I ask him.
Hopefully that helps you a little bit :)

Re: Payments?
Yeah, I'm taking charge of planning, basically I show him what I've come up with and ask his opinion. I think he'll have more to say as it gets closer and we have to pick things like a DJ, songs, his tux...things he is actually interested in. As for payments, I'm using the knot to keep track.

I tried the knot this morning.. theres very limited options there I foudn though... unless i have no clude what I am doing which may very well eb the case! I only saw options for deposit, 2nd payment and final payment. we have a schedule from the RH - and have 45 payments scheduled this year,....that's why I was thinking the know wouldn't work. hmm...

Re: Payments?
thanks for hte suggestions everyone!
Gogle docs is a great idea!!!!!! I am always saving and emailing it to myself.. then i get confused lol FH really has no desire to see what we paid or keep track. I am an accountant for a living, so I do our checkbook and everything. He jsut nods and smiles and hopes we ahve $$ lol maybe that's why I am stressing so much.
