So if your're a Westbury Manor bride then you know how the payment plan works. My question is this....we are booked for 2/20 and paid a deposit and then our first mail in payment. The next isnt until August....is it a bad idea to pay some more money before then? We are paying for most everything ourselves and I would just feel better knowing that the big stuff is paid down as much as possible before the end comes... I am planning on buying insurance to be safe so if anything happens....(bad weather...) I will get all my money back anyway if we have to cancel...Thoughts....

Our BM was Mel, and he suggested making payments at the suggested payment times, just incase anything happens - like the wedding is cancelled. It's more $$ we risk not getting back if they couldn't rebook the date. He also stressed that they have no problem taking early payments. We just stuck to the suggested schedule, it was easier for us.

We did make smaller payments in between the large payments-however what Teengirrl said was somehting we were warned about when we asked about it.

we have a set schedule with the RH -every 3 months we send a payment and then they want a large payment about 2 mos before hand - which isnt too terrible because about 1/2 of it will be paid by then - we are planning on having almost all of the vendors completely paid off by then so it is only a matter of envelopes for the vendors day of
