Payments to RH? In person or by mail?

Payments to RH? In person or by mail?

For payments other than the initial one, what does everyone do? If you make them through the mail do they mail you back a receipt?

they are sent by mail

i was wondering the same thing. how would i know that they've received it and put it towards the right party?

I send it through the mail and I get a confirmation through email once it was received.

Well, I was thinking that I would write that stuff out in the memo field of the check. I was thinking that I would put a note asking for a receipt but an email confirmation would suffice..

I brought all of mine in person. But my RH isn't very far from my house and I love going in there all the time!

definately in person. Wouldn't be the time to be dealing with a 'clerical' error.

Well I live in NJ so I mailed them- and I just called and made sure they received them and wrote down the check number/amount on my contract.

I hand delivered them..but thats also cause I like seeing my hall!

I mailed the first and went there to give them the second. I'll probably give them the last payment at the tasting since it'll be a month before the wedding.

Thus far, I have handed them in person. I have another one due in June and I plan on dropping it off.

I usually call the banquet manager and let him know that my payment is on its way - and usually sent it ATTN: to him. I don't normally get a receipt, but follow up with a phone call to check the remaining balance and make sure he got the payment. HTH!

I have mailed in the payments and they mail be back a detailed receipt of the payment. Closer to the wedding I will hand-deliver it so that I can check up on them and discuss important things for the wedding.

We've taken each payment so far in person. We only live 15-20 minutes away from the RH so we would prefer to just personally deliver the checks. This way, we get to speak to someone each time and ask questions.

I mail it with a tracking number to make sure they get it and ask for a confirmation.
