PayPal fraud

I just wanted to let all my LIW girls know to please be careful. I received an email yesterday from PayPal, and the subject of the email was Update Account Information. When I went into the email it said that they think my PayPal account has been compromized and that I needed to click a link to update my account info. Now I work at a bank so I know never to click on a link like that. So I closed the internet, reopened it, and went to my actual PayPal account page. it said nothing about needing to update any info. I reported the email I received and it infact was a fraudulant email someone sent to get access to my bank accounts. Just please all of you know that nothing will ever ask you for personal info in an email. always go to the source and see if something is wrong.

i haven't gotten one of those, but I get e-mails from Fifth Third Bank like every week saying I have to verify something about my account - and I've never even heard of the bank... scary....

Thanks for looking out for us.
I get that email all the time too and I don't even HAVE a PayPal account. I also get emails supposedly from 'Bank of America' saying to update my info (nope, no account with them either!).
