Pearl Jam songs

FH is major Pearl Jam afn. Anyone know any songs we could play during the reception, without it sounding too rock 'n roll-ish?
(I don't want to scare anyone over 80...)

'Last Kiss' which is a new version of an old song and 'wishlist' isn't rock'n roll-ish

I was thinking Last Kiss too, but it is a little morbid!

ok, it's kind of a romantic song, but you might not find it appropriate for your wedding- it's one of their slower ones, and my ABSOLUTE favorite Pearl Jam song- BLACK!!!!

ETA- thought of another one, and I think it would be perfect.....'Elderly woman behind the counter in a small town' (bizarre title, but great song!)

or how bout 'Yellow ledbetter'? it's a good song too, you just can't understand what the hell he's saying lol....but it's one of their slower ones.

Eddie Vedder did You've Got to Hide Your Love away on the I Am Sam Soundtrack that could maybe work. I am trying to think of others

Hail Hail would be fun to dance to! It might be a bit to 'headbanger-y' for you because you specified you didn't want that, but the lyrics are romantic, in a way: 'Hail, hail the lucky ones, i refer to those in love /
swore i'd love you till the day i die, and beyond..'

Maybe better for 'dinner music'.

Release and Black are my faves from Ten, which is such a good album, and these aren't as rocky as some of the others

HUGE PJ fan here.

Please do not play last kiss at a wedding, its about a girl dying.

Black is a very negative song - google the lyrics!

Please, don't anyone recommend Better Man - that song is about a woman settling for a man and trying to rationalize it in her own mind. GRRR, pet peeve when people think this is a 'positive' song.

If your FH is a true PJ fan, then he will be all about the lyrics, not just the overall sound of the song.

Some possibilities we will be playing:
Thin Air
Oceans (special meaning for us, may not be appropriate for others)
Love Boat Captain

Some covers:
Harvest Moon
Can't help falling in love

Another good one I just remembered:

Throw your arms around me
