Pearl's Place Q

Hi Girls

I found the perfect wedding dress at bridal reflections and called pearls place which quoted me $1600 less! I was thrilled but was wondering if anyone has gotten a long island bridal salon to match a quote given from pearl's place?

I am nervous about getting a dress from pearl's and not knowing a good place to get alterations as well as having a salon to do fittings etc for the bridal party.

I had seen on anther post that bonaventure bridal in garden city had matched the pearls quote but was disappointed when I called today and was told they closed their bridal business!!!

I never heard of Pearl's Place. For couture gowns without the price tag, try Phyllis at www.gownfind.com. Good Luck!!

I was going to order my dress from Pearl's Place until I contacted Phyllis at gownfind. Her quote was slightly higher, but she capped her alterations at $150. That sold me on using her.

I haven't heard of Pearl's Place, but a lot of girls here recommended Phyllis at gownfind. I called her and she has great prices.

I've heard of both and heard good things about both, though I don't have personal experience with either!

Also -- did you try to get bridal reflections to match the quote? try that too...

I heard a lot of great things about pearls place (check brides reveiw). I'm ordering my bridesmaids dresses from there and they quoted me the lowest price of all the places I called. I found a place near my home to get the alterations done.

I'm using Pearl's, I'm a little nervous but I've never heard a bad thing about them and I'm getting my dress for $1,500 less than the stores in NY. They were the only discount place I found that carried my designer so I just went for it. I'll get my dress in 4 months, hopefully everything works out.
