Pedala Sisters- $$?

i wish i can have both of them for all day but they way too pricey!

When Maureen was dong my trial she was like OMG im already getting inquiries for 2008 shes like i dont know whats going on or why weve blown up so much...im like LIW!!!! Your trials are all over the place...she like wow girls actually post their makeup trials?? She thinks were nuts.

I think I will be doing the whole 8 hours of makeup for the girls, I think $1250 for 8 hours is pretty good. Hair for that much and for 8 hours, I dont know about. The girls can use hairspray or something all day so it can hold for the whole day, I dont think its necessary for the hair stylist to be there all day but for makeup its a diff story bec the girls will sweat and wont have time to touch up on their own and its a nice touch they will feel special too I guess. They can do their own hair maybe

Yeah the brides hair is a different story, I didnt think of that, hahah I was thinking about my girls. Yeah and in May/June it gets muggy and hot out. My hair gets curly/wavy when there is humidity. I want mine half down/up so it may get sweaty/messy. Maybe you can just book the hair stylist just for you for the whole day, will that still cost 1250??

If you want to book them for the whole day just for the bride i think she mentioned she charges you by the hour then. I dont know how much though.

Thanks ladies- I think those prices are ridiculous and to expect a bride to pay for their car service after charging so much is in poor form.

Its great for you girls that have money to burn- but $800 to have my hair and make up done?! That's just silly...

I agree. Thats ludicrous. Don't get me wrong, the trials I've seen by them are gorgeous...but I've seen trials that were equally as gorgeous and won't cost me nearly as much.

$200 travel fee? That is highway robbery. That is absurd to me to even entertain the thought of paying that! Are they travelling via helicopter? Private jet? That's just an insult to your intelligence to have an exhorbitant travel fee like that. They may as well ask you for your ATM pin number. I guess they figure why not if people are going to pay it. Good for them that they can do that.

it may be an insult to YOUR intellegance not to mine i am booked with them and i am NOT complaining at all, however i also am not paying the $200 fee since my wedding in the city so i am excluded from this charge.

exactly...I live right out of the city takes about 5-10 mins so ill ask her about this but regardless, I have liked their work the best and trust me I looked at ALOT...I love how the make up comes out, i can see a difference in their make up than alot of others ive seen, plus the hair too...The curls come out alot different, and the way i see alot of the others doing it is not how i want to have mine. They have been the only ones who i actually said WOW the hair is PERFECT and make up is flawless. So since i have liked their work the best and havent seen anyone to match what i am looking for then its a sacrifice im willing to make...Theres a couple of girls on here who have booked them already.

ALSO since FH and I might stay in the city the night of our wedding, I might just stay in the hotel room from the night before and get ready there so might not have to pay the travel fee since i might be in the city already. But regardless we have made our decisions and we have to deal with it and are comfortable with it or else we wouldn't have booked.

and dont get me wrong not saying the $200 is not alot, as you can see everyone who already booked with them or is thinking about it said it.

Everyone has reasons for what they do, and if people can afford to pay it, what is it to you? My wedding is over an hour out of the city, and while I agree that they should just drive, I want them to do my hair and makeup and can afford to pay their travel fee. They dont have a minimum so for me it made sense since it came out to less than me paying someone to do three people (which most vendors require). I went for other trials and none compared. It is my wedding day and I want to look and feel my best, and if an extra $200 is going to do that, than it is worth it to me. I am a very intelligent person and can make logical decisions, and for me, this one made sense.
