i heard/read somehwere that Pedestals floral comapny is the only ones who are allowed to decorate the NRC ceiling using toule(sp?) and lights. Has anyone done this and how much did it cost? it looks really nice...heres a pic
Its stunning!!! I believe at my hall also they are only allowed to do that. I would love to get that done but my ceiling are low. Ask your florist at Pedestals how much it cost?

I know NRC said that only their house vendors can decorate the ceilings or anything that will have to be affixed to the building needs to be by a house vendor. I think for insurance purposes...at least thats what Ida said lol So you should give Pedestals a call just to inquire some info

My FSIL got married at NRC and had the ceiling decorated - it was gorgeous...
You just have to ask yourself if it's worth the $1500...

Youre right--1500 dollars is A LOTTTT of money for something that is going to hang from the ceiling. It would look amazing--but the room there is gorgeous on its own--I will have to think about it

FH and I thought about bringing in more flowers and other decorations to the room but everytime we go back (to make more payments lol) we always think this room is beautiful on its own!! So we decided to keep it simple

the ceiling looks beautiful decorated, but i agree it's pretty expensive. i would play it this way, it's not something that can't be added closer to the wedding, so why don't you hold off on it for a while and keep in on the back burner and see if when all is said and done if there is any extra money floating around for one last detail. just an idea, do with it as you like!

I have been to 2 weddings there ..
the first time they had the drapping with the lights the second with out the drapping andlights (MTLOM)
I actually liked it better with out it.

I have seen the ceiling decorated, and FH & I fell in with it.
We were just there for our food tasting, and the ceiling wasn't decorated -- to us, it looked like it was missing something.
Totally worth the extra to us.

My sister had the ceiling decorated and it looked amazing. It was pricey. I was going to do it also but i am not using their house vendors. With that being said the house cendors give you a better price on the ceiling if you let them do your entire wedding. If you dont they charge you almost 1,000.00 more just to send a crew there. Too much money. If you have your centerpieces and boks done with them and then do the ceiling for the toule and a petal drop i think its 1000-1500 and i think with the lights its about 1500-2000.
