We went to Flowers by Brian last night and they came out to be about the same as Pedestals so Im torn because I think they both do quality work. Had a few issues last night but I think I can overlook them. Need honest opinions though.
we used PEDESTALS and loved their work...we had so many compliments on our flowers...

I met with both Pedestals and Flowers by Brian and we ended up going with Pedestals because we found it difficult to get answers from FBB. I went in to Pedastals the first time and was not happy but, my girlfried raved about them so, I decided to give them another chance and it was well worth it. Robert spent an hour and a half with us going over what we wanted. He totally got our 'vision' and stayed in our budget. It ended up coming out about the same as FBB but, FBB did not return calls and answer specific questions. I'm not saying that FBB is bad, they do FABULOUS work (they did my sisters wedding) I just feel that they are too ego centric. Sorry so long. Hope it helps.
Why did you leave Pedestals and not like them though? See I kinda feel the way you do about FBB. I dont know maybe he was having a bad day or maybe it was because we were a late appt.(7:30pm)I just felt like he wasnt really listening to me at times and zoning out. He even walked out of the room without motioning in anyway to follow him as he discussed the cps in the showroom while we like jerks were sitting in his office. Not that he wasnt nice he just came across like he would rather be somewhere else and then when the 8pm appt came in I felt like he was more interested in getting rid of us as he looked past us to them. When we left before we could even say goodbye he was already starting his pitch to the other couple. FH thinks that FBB will do a more peticular job than Pedestals. I like the displays better at FBB but I thought Erin at Pedestals was more personable and involved in some ways. However I did feel a bit rushed out of there and forgot a few things I wanted but FH says it was because it was snowing. The both wind up to be about the same. I just want to work with someone who is going to do a good job and make me comfortable working with them.

I'm using fbb...i'll let you know in a few weeks how everything turns out. So far, i've loved the centerpiece samples they did for me (2x). I did wish they had spent a little more time with me helping with color schemes and such, but their work is nice. It sounds like personal touch is given alot more with pedestals....
