Has anyone looked at these vineyards for their reception or been to a wedding there? What about Raphael Vineyards?

Pellegrini and Wolffer Vineyards
I contacted Wolffer last year and they told me they no longer do weddings at their estate, I think Pellegrini does, you can call them..or email them, I think they sent me a list of their fees for access to the vineyard and fees for table and chairs rentals and everything.

Pellegrini and Wolffer Vineyards
We looked at Wolffer, it was nice, but better suited for a small intimate wedding. We also looked into Vineyard Caterers, they were abe to accomodate a larger party, but we were not crazy about the place. Please feel free to ask any other questions!
Continued success to all...

Getting married at Wolffer!!!
It's really beautiful!!
It is best suited for a smaller weddings, they don't do tents anymore-I think their max is 150.
They've been great with everything.
Other nice vineyards I looked at were Laurel and Gristina.

Any info anyone can provide would be great -- Southhampton is not too far from Wolffer, so that's great.

Re: Pellegrini and Wolffer Vineyards
Artistry in Flowers - every bo-k Ive ever gotten from there has been BEAUTIFUL but they are PRICY!
Topiaire - the same as artistry
There is one on the corner of North Sea ROad and Jagger Lane - I cant think of the name but they are cheaper than the other 2 but their flowers are just as nice.
I know its only 3 but I hoped I helped

Re: Pellegrini and Wolffer Vineyards
I cant believe how much the rental fee at the wineries is!!! I was looking into Raphael and the rental fee for May was $3,000 and for October was $10,000!!!! ON TOP of $125pp!! I couldnt do it! I went for the VIneyard Caterers. It was all about the $$

My reception will be at Raphael--it's absolutely beautiful...but a little pricey.
I'm getting married this coming February and booked about two weeks ago. Since FEbruary is a slow month and they didn't already have the date booked (they probably can't even book it at this time given the proximity of the date) they cut us a great deal..we wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise.

That is WONDERFUL!! Their dining room is AMAZING. I loved the chandelers (sp?) and the dark woods. Very romantic! I didnt like how their gift shop was out in the middle of the room but there is nothing you can do aout that. CONGRATS!

Re: Pellegrini and Wolffer Vineyards
I was in a wedding at Wolfer, and although it was beautiful, there were a few things that I wasn't crazy about. First, the dancing was in a seperate room from dinner, which just didn't work very well for this particular party -- the facility is fairly small, you probably don't want to have more than 110 guests. Also, there was a noise restriction law that called for the party to end by 11:00PM. Since it was a Friday night wedding and the ceremony didn't start until 7:00, it was the shortest wedding I had ever been to. Also, the hotels in the area are all very expensive. I know this caused the bride quite a bit of grief since she had a lot of out of town guests.
It was really beautiful and unique, but considering how expensive everything was, you might want to consider other locations. However, if you are having a smaller, intimate wedding and can start it earlier you might just love it!

Re: Pellegrini and Wolffer Vineyards
i looked at all those places for my wedding - their prices were to much, and there were some regulations like with the music. Some places will not allow you to play music after a certain time because its a recidential are and others will also give problems about the time of your wedding because they have to wait until they close to host a wedding. i decided on the vineyard their prices were great and they work with you on averything. The place is also beautiful.

Luckily, I'm having a 3:00 wedding on a Saturday at Wolffer, so the music situation won't be a problem...we'll definitely be done with the music by the required 1:00 curfew! I agree about the hotel situation...that's why our guests are either driving or taking car services. My fiance and I aren't even staying out there ... we're heading back to Nassau to the Garden City Hotel (and we'll enjoy our nice long limo ride together as husband and wife I really want to hear any info from anyone who has either had a wedding at Wolffer or attended one!
