Pen Pals

Anyone have pen pals anymore????
It just popped in my head b/c I would love a reason to rush and get the mail ( besides the fact that I have to hide my CC bill before DH sees it)

and I think it would be nice to actually have something to look fwd to in the mail instead of dread

But today with cell phones and email I never hear about anyone having a pen pal anymore

I had several when I was teenager (20+ years ago). I really enjoyed corresponding with people all over the world. I had pen pals in England, Australia, and Egypt.

With the internet, I think pen pals are dying off.

omg i had pen pals too...i would think that people in the military still do this!

I used to have one in Germany and one in Singapore. It would have been soooo cool to have stayed in touch!

i used to have one in Oklahoma (elementary school) for like 3 or 4 years, and then one in Canada for a few years in junior high.

these days, i dont think a pen pal would be able to read my chicken scratch handwriting, but it would be cool to have a pen pal from somewhere in the world to learn about their customs/ experiences first hand

I used to have one as well.. we lost touch back in Elem school....not sure of how to get one now though.. maybe yahoo or google?

I have an e-mail pal that I have never met in person, but we correspond from a web site on line chat.
