Did anyone use pennylane? Raves and rants welcome! Need some reviews! Also, which package did you choose (1 or 2) and how long did the video take to be finished?

TIA!

Re: Pennylane

I used pennylane for my wedding and seriously i cant say enough great things about them, they went above and beyond.

Adam was so great to work with, all the guys that day from pennylane were so nice and did a great job

the day of our wedding at our reception he did a quick edit of everything before the reception and played it for our guests at the reception, he did a wedding movie trailer. I didnt tell Dh or anybody that we were doing this so it was such a great surprise...its so funny bc everyone i see now says that was the best part of the wedding...we recently were at a friends e-party and all the guys that were there for our wedding was saying this to me, which is good coming from guys...i have ppl who werent at my wedding telling me they saw our video.

here is the video he played at our reception

we havent started the process of picking songs for the video, its dh and i who have been lazy and havent done this but it does take a few months for all the dvds

and to answer your question we had the 2nd package with 2 cameramen although there were 3 that day lol

I used Pennylane for my wedding and can NOT say enough wonderful things about Adam. He is really a pleasure to deal with 100%-quick to answer phone calls, emails and he really pays attention to what you say! I am not sure which packaged I got (sorry it was a long time ago) but you cant go wrong with any of them really

How much more would you say they are than other videographers? Was the extra cost worth it?

I'd like to know this also. He sure is quick to return phone calls though. If I didn't work so much I would call him back but he is sweet as pie on the messages...I got a great vibe from him instantly.

they are more than many other videographers. You have some videographers that range from $1-2k so pennylane can be a little bit more. I looked at the samples on their website and fell in love with their work, it was exactly what i wanted.

ALso keep in mind that you only pay half the balance before your wedding and then pay the other half when you receive the finished videos which is months later

When I booked the difference wasnt that much for what I wanted, I dont know his prices now so I cant help with that, I do know that most videographers can vary anywhere from 1k up to 2500 even higher.
I would definitely say the difference is worth it. Adam does alot of editing you dont see normally in a wedding video which makes it spicier and fun to watch. I can watch his videos over an dover again b/c they arent just spliced together and handed over. He actually spends time editing it and making it a work of art not just another video

We're using them and I can't wait! I was practically crying when he was showing us samples in his office and I didn't even know the people in the video! He really does amazing work and is worth the extra cost!
