Does anyone have a suggestion where I can buy a traditional type Penoir without breaking the bank? Saw one over the weekend (at a bra shop in NJ) that was over $200. When I was a bride, this was usually a shower gift. Did anyone get a penoir at their shower? Thanks for any info.

Have you tried major dept stores? How about Victoria's Secret? Often times they have a section of their website just for bridal lingerie.
All the showers I have been to the MOB gives a penoir set. Try Victoria Secrets and also some of hte major department stores have gorgeous stuff (and run sales!) Good Luck

In my family it is a traditional bridal shower gift and from the mother of the bride. My mom made a cute story and bought me a ton of lingerie/night wear (sexy to casual to funny stuff) including a penior set. The set was from VS - I would post a picture from VS's site but VS is blocked at work. It is very pretty but I don't think it was cheap. I have seen some pretty stuff at Macy's too.

My BM's got me one at Lord and Taylor, and I loved it, and I know it was not that expensive. We also got a friedn one at Macy's and she loved that too.

I've seen some beautiful, well priced pegnoirs at Victoria's Secret as well as Billing's Lingerie in Southampton.
