how much do peonies run and are they a fall flower?
the more I think about it, the more I think I would like an all white peony bo-k for myself

its from may-july or apr-june i forgot. They are pricier than alot of other flowers and when they're not in season they're alot more.

guess peonies are a no go ... but if i only get them for myself its prob doable and i know that in certain cases, they can be ordered from other countries?

yes, they can be ordered (hey its gotta be spring somewhere, lol)~my friend uses a service for this, i will ask him for the site & get it to you

definitely not a fall flower.. i wanted them! i think they're a summer flower my fiance sent me a bo-k with them and it cost $5 a flower

the knot has a splurge vs steal section in this months issue for flowers...their steal version of the peonies is peppermint roses. the israeli peony bouquet they have goes for $250 while the peppermint rose goes for $125

Peonies are not a fall flower. I was told I couldn't get them in July because they are too fragile by then.

spring flower not sure of the price tho i heard from 1 florist they are hard to get and could cost extra $$ but another florist said thats not right lol

they are not in season, but you can still get them. They will be pricier, but are large so they fill out bo-k. I heard they were $12/$14 for April, but I'm not sure if they are in season in april or intil June.
My floist steared me away from them because they are tissue-thin and bruise easily. They said they can get beat up in pics. I am going with roses and hydrangea for the puffy bo-k effect.

I had peonies at my wedding and I loved them! They did not bruise and stayed fresh the entire day. If I were having a fall wedding I would still try to get them, I would even grow them myself if I had to! Here is a pic of my bo-k, it actually peonies with lilac.

I used Flower Michele! He was really great. My girls had peonies with purple lilac and blue hydrangea.
