Peonies

SO... now that I am rethinking my bridesmaid dresses, I was thinking of breaking up the red white and blue with some pink flowers... but are peonies not available in July???? I am so sad!!!!!!!!!!

They aren't????
My peonies are starting to grow in my backyard. I just saw the branches start to bloom. They won't be out until after July??? I can't imagine that's right.

A woman I worked with last year gave me some peonies from her garden and it had to be before the end of the school year.

Right... they are gone by July... so I can't have them at the wedding

I 100% agree! I wanted to do light pink to break up the darkness of the navy/cranberry

i like them too but not available in aug

Unfortunately, for me they are not available in Aug

peonies are not available in july, or i think you have to have them shipped in and it's really expensive. i will say, when you posted pics of different dress combinations with your colors, it didn't scream american flag to me. i think it's because the red and blue you're using are so deep.

That's exactly what I thought - some people in my family have said otherwise - my mom says just do what you want... I might go for light pink roses then.... I just loved the look of peonies

Thay are not available but you can ask your florist if they can get them it may be a little extra. Another thing you can do is ask your florist if they can get a real good quality silk peony. Another flower that looks like a peony is ranuculas. They look like a mini verison of peonies. Good Luck.
I am having peonies in bouquet and they are not available in April but my florist is going to try to get the white one if not we are going to use a silk peony.
