I had to vent or a sec....I am so aggravated with some people over the RSVP's for our E-Party....for the life of me I cannot understand why you don't RSVP!!!! When I get an invite to something I do 2 simple things...check the calendar and RSVP!!!!!!!
FMIL had to CALL people...we even had a grown 40 yr old man rsvp through his mom through FMIL to US!! It's RIDIC! This is making me worry about the wedding RSVP's...if they don't RSVP I'm NOT calling....as far as I'm concerned they'll be OFF the list..
OK I'm done....

Sorry! I can understand how that is sooooo frustrating! Just imagine when it is time for the wedding RSVP's.......nightmare!

IT REALLY IS A SIMPLE CONCEPT RIGHT?
FOR PETE'S SAKE IT ONLY INVOLVES MAKING A PHONE CALL OR CHECKING A BOX AND PUTTING SOMETHING IN THE MAIL THATS PRE-ENVELOPED & STAMPED!!!!
IF WE HAD PEOPLE LIKE THAT, NOT ANSWERING AN RSVP EQUATES A 'NO' TO ME!!!!!!!

For my first marriage I couldnt understand for the life of me how people couldnt respond, the stamp is already on the envelope for you lol. REALLY!!!!! Thats just lazy and irresponsible. Im not looking forward to RSVPs again!

I know - I had a couple of people do that to me too when we were planning our e-party. We even had some people tell us they weren't coming because they didn't like what we were doing and that it was insensitive (we had our e-party on party boat out of freeport) - you might not like the idea but we loved it so keep your opinion to yourself!!

ahhh thats soo annoying, just wondering is it mostly guys that didnt rsvp? my FH is the worst and i always yell at him that he is the reason we will have bad karma when it comes to our rsvp's lol
you would think adults would know the rules of rsvp by now..... people will never stop amazing me

It's a mix....all of the are full blown adults...which pisses me off even more...some are close friends and I've shlepped myself to their wedddings, parties, etc. and some are very close family members, I won't name names!!!

I totally understand. I was going through the same issue for my party and I hunted them down like a marksmen. I still have plenty of maybes, but since its a bbq I'm not too worried about a headcount.

I feel your pain. It was a nightmare getting ppl to respond to our E-Party too. We even had to follow up with certain members of our Bridal Party who didn't respond on time.

I'm sorry to say I'm a bad RSVP'er. It depends, I'm good with weddings because I get a little card to mail back. I'm very bad with phone calls because I think to call during the day but I can't bc of work and then when I get home, I forget or I call too late.
I love when they have email addresses listed-- I'm all over that!!!!!!!!!!!
