People are buying off our REGISTRY! + Questions

Original post by mybabylovesmoi

A couple of my BM's sent the kitchen aid mixer (apple green ) to FH and I the other week and I was so surprised and excited.

Then last night we came home to a pile of boxes! My childhood friend and her parents bought our entire capholan pots and pans set ANDDDD

the kitchen aid mixer

lol, i guess they overlooked that it was already fulfilled on the registry but still, that was a very generous present from them.

Getting excited!

Question: Do I send thank you's right away? Wait after the shower?

Oooh awesome!!! I'm guessing they are registry presents, so I'd probably wait??

I know, how can I tell if they are shower gifts or early wedding presents? I felt like the pots and pans and mixer from one family was mighty generous for a shower.

You should send thank yous as soon as you receive a gift. It lets the person know you receive it so they won't worry. It's pretty embarrassing when they ask, hey did you get my gift (because they didn't get a thank you).
