People are driving me nuts!

So everyone is driving me nuts. And even FH is starting to understand why I am so frustrated/nervous/annoyed about this.

His best man and one of the groomsmen are always late. They are also cheap. FH has a suite the night before the wedding and wants them to stay with him that way we don't have to worry about being late. Also, we're having a dinner the night before the wedding.

Best man was invited with a date. I didn't want to, but FH insisted out of courtesy. Our RSVP date is Friday and we haven't heard from him because he's still not sure who is going to bring. Great.

Groomsmen has a girlfriend but she doesn't know anyone/is too shy/doesn't want to be bored So she doesn't want to come to the wedding the day of by herself.

So this means that neither of them are going to stay with FH the night before and they're both too cheap to get their own room which also means they won't be coming to the dinner. Now, it's not a 'rehearsal' dinner. FMIL surprised us with a check for having a dinner the night before the wedding so it was only a recent addition. Even though they don't HAVE to be there, I WANT them to be there because I want to give them their gifts.

Soooo now we have this dilemma. FH wants to know if I want him to tell them they HAVE to be there. I dunno what to do. I just feel weird having a dinner with only my bridesmaids present and not the groomsmen.
