People are Jerks!!!

I woke up this AM to realize that my wallet was missing. FH and I were at TGIFs last night and apparently I dropped it. Im assuming it dropped on the seat, missing my bag after I was giving FH change for the tip.

TGIFs had it, I went there and picked it up, all my CC were there but all my cash (about $50) was taken oh but they did leave $1

Worst part is... they took all my Fortunoff GCs (Equally $175.00) that i had in my wallet (yet left my macys gift card which on the envelope said $100) I had just put them in my wallet because FH and i were going to go use them because i was scared that they would be closing and I wouldnt be able to use them

My sister has a friend that works there and he asked the manager who said the bartender found it on the floor of the bathroom.

I HATE PEOPLE!!

thanks Ladies - you hope that people would doe right thing - but ere are such sleeze balls out there

I guess i should be happy it wasnt worse but im still mad!

Is there anyway to cancel the gift cards? Like each gift card has a number assigned to it - if you happen to have the gift card number on the receipt or something, you can probably call the store and get those cancelled and a new one issued.

thanks Mary-Katherine, i actually thought of that but i dont have slips or reciepts that went with the GCs they were gifts and stupid me never thought to write donw the numbers! i should do that from now on!

similar thing happend to me last year..they took my purse like right off my arm practically..must have been pros cause i didnt feel a thing

they took all my expensive stuff out of it ( ipod, phone digicam and cash )

then threw everything else out on somebodys lawn..it ****** to cause it was a louis v purse that was about 2 weeks old that i bought with my tax return too ..

i'm sorry, that stinks!! i'm happy for you that you at least got your wallet back w your ID and CCs...but it's so sad that there are people like that who would take the $. i would never do that, but i totally believe in karma...so whoever took your $ will get theirs.

same thing happened to me at the mall awhile back. i lost my wallet, they took the $60 cash but left everything else. even though i lost the $$ i was happy i didnt have to call up and cancel cc's and go through that big hassle.

Gina, I'm so sorry to hear this!! When my girl's were little, and we went to Hardees, Donna left her little girl purse, on the seat, and when we returned it was gone. That, to me, is really mean and nasty!! My Son's car was ransacked, and his CD collection, and his college Graduation watch, were stolen!! Our Daughter, Donna, had her Jeep broken into and her speakers, her CD player, and a lot of CD's were stolen!! Feel your pain!!! Mary MOB

While it absolutely does s*ck that it was returned with stuff missing.....I've been trying to look at the bright side and at least you got it back and your credit cards were in there.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I would call and request new c/c numbers. They might have left them in your wallet but wrote numbers done. Be on the safe side
