People are so Inconsiderate.....

To the rest of the 06ers....just be prepared for annoying things like this to happen in the final weeks before your wedding

I'm getting married in 19 days. My RSVP date was on Feb 18th, more than enough time to get all the responses. We were missing about 20 responses at that point. We made some calls, emails, and completed our final count...OR SO WE THOUGHT.

One guest, who never sent back his RSVP, who we confirmed with his parent's that he was coming ALONE...just told them to please let us know he is now bringing a date. I am so tempted to tell him no. But since we didn't make our final payment yet, I will let it slide.

People who have never planned a wedding before really have no idea about this stuff!!!!! They don't understand head counts and guarantees and deadlines, but one day they will!!! I'm glad you can make the accomodation, make sure he realizes that you're doing him a favor!!

dealing with same crap.

a few people who were in 'relationships' are now single.... suddenly they must have heard that our wedding is a huge makeout party (ok, welll, it's turning out that way)....

i'm just dealin with it cause some day i'm gonna miss it!

Why should you do all of that work for the inconsiderate one? I'd tell him that he can't bring a date - he's too late.

absolutely. don't go nuts over him. its his fault he never got back to you in the first place and now tells his parents to tell you he's bringing a date. I would say no date or don't come.

believe me, he's going to get it....I can't tell him not to come....we vacation with his family every year...just have to deal with it. I can't wait until Saturday when FH and I sign our life away with our final payment to the hall. No changes after that!!

We had someone respond the week before the wedding, he was not invited w/ a guest but siad he was coming w/ one and then didn't show up.. No phone call nothing..

Oh my god, I feel your pain. We are date twins so i definitely know howe you feel.

I had people write in the responses that they are bringing their two babies and never asked at all if they can bring them. Im letting it slide because they are still in strollers but its not fair to everyone else that im telling no to about bringing their kids. Plus they are from out of town and probably staying overnight.

Plus, how hard is it to send a response back in the mail. All you have to do is write if you are going or not and put it in the mailbox. No postage needed. Uggh is so annoying. Do they realize that we have placecards, payment, etc. to finalize.
