We're not going on a cruise for our HM but we have been on cruises before. Generally the shore excursions are pretty fun, some are pricier than others. You don't have to book them until you're on the ship, so you can give it some thought and play it by ear. What ports are you going to?

We have never been on a European cruise, but I have been to some of those cities. I would probably go on some of the sightseeing excursions so you don't miss anything. There's tons to see, make sure you go see the colloseum, it's one of the most impressive things I've ever seen, and the Trevi Fountain is beautiful. But like I said before, I would prabably wait on booking the excursions and then feel it out.

Royal Caribbean lets you book online ahead of time. All our excursions are booked, and lots of them. We are going to need a vacation to rest from the vacation!!
