I mailed out my wedding invitations, and we did invite FMIL first cousins, per her request, we have no problem with that.
However we get the response back, and not only did the first cousins put themselves on the response card, but their 23 year old son, AND a guest...I just think that is so balsy, we couldn't believe it. We would have invited them separately if they were invited...DUH!!!!!
We aren't gonna say anything, just let them come, but I just think that's terrible to assume we can accommodate them, we don't even know them....Thanks for listening to my VENT..GRRR

This is why I tell my mom that I want to Put the number of guest invited on the card that way they know it is only for one or what ever the amount is I think they don't realize how expensive a wedding is now a day
