People have no brains sometimes...kinda long sorry
So my mom has been plannning my shower for MONTHS trying to keep it a secret. She even told me that everyone knows its a surprise and it's also written on the invite (I knew I was getting one just didn't know when). So about a month or so ago I got a phone call from my older cousin. She's making my BP jewelry (she's an artist) and wanted to tell me she had samples for me to see. So as I'm about to hang up the phone she tells me 'Linda, I know Judy got an invite to your shower...' I stopped her DEAD in her tracks!!! I had to remind her it's a surprise and I know NOTHING about the shower and I didn't know when invites were going out ![]()

THEN, I saw the same cousin the next day and she informs me that she can come to the shower...STRIKE 2![]()

THEN...this weekend I see ANOTHER cousin and as she was leaving the BBQ she said to me 'I'll see you next week' REALLY!?!?! I told my mom and she confirmed that the shower was next weekend (now this coming Saturday). So much for a surprise!!!!
FINALLY icing on the cake (they don't know I know already) my FMIL and FH's aunt were talking and they kept mentioning how FH's grandparents are going to be here next weekend on accident and then give each other looks. Or mentioning about next weekend. It's like people don't have a clue!
I mean I'm glad I kinda know about it now but I was REALLY looking forward to a surprise party! And I kinda figured it out but no one ever said anything to me about it. I just hope the party goes smoother then the surprise!!!![]()

On the plus side my mom made up for it and told me that my college roommate is coming and I haven't seen her since her wedding last June!!!! I'm so excited to see her!!!!![]()
