People really are just weird

So we invited FH's cousin, but not his mother (FH's aunt through marriage). The aunt and uncle are divorced and the uncle is a drama starter- but he wins the invite because he is FMIL's brother.

We decided it was better for the family if we invited him and his son (adult) and not her. Whatever.

So the son (who is like 26?) just RSVPd WITH HIS MOTHER.

And they RSVPd NO.

What??? I don't even understand? Why even add her if it is a no?

I'm just happy for the No!

That actually sounds like they were trying to give you a big F U for not inviting her to begin with....

FH invited her via a phone call to her and her son after his uncle RSVPd no. They all like her more!

She I think the cousin was just clarifying because it was going to my parents but he spoke to FH
