People who have kids...

aww thats cute!!! I love that idea! She'll feel like a little bride!!!!Even if shes shy and doesn't say anything I think its adorable.

I once saw at a ceremony when the exchanging of rings happened the couple also exchanged them with the kids.

My kids are 10 (twins) and I want them included but I know they wont wear rings but it may be nice for them to have. They will be jr BM!

aww thats cute! well, after FH proposed to me he gave kayla an 'e-ring' too... its on a necklace though because she is too little to wear rings yet

That is adorable! I've heard of the exchanging of the vows with the kids also, I think that is so sweet, especially for those old enough to understand the meaning behind it

Not sure if Ill do this but I've seen two things take place.

1) The kids join in the cake cutting, and a picture is snapped with the bride, groom and kids holding the cake knife together.

2) They are blessed with the couple at the ceremony as husband,wife and family.

The cake cutting was nice to see in a photo.

I was thinking to have a candle lighting ceremony but I haven't looked it up yet.

we're doing a family unity ceremony.. we'll do our regular ring exchange and then a seperate one where fh and i will present my daughter with a ring..

she will prob be involved in the unity candle lighting as well..

07 Bride here..

I made my son a groomsmen....During the unity candle lighting I had him join me in lighting the candle...I also had a bride/son dance...and we danced to his favorite song from Led Zepplin 'All of my Love'...I tear up everytime I think about it...LOL
