A couple of weekends ago, I was out with some college friends and ran into a girl who also went to school with us. She is friends with some of the people I am out with and I think they invited her, but these people I'm out with aren't even my closest group of school friends. Anyway, the girl I ran into, who I haven't seen since I graduated college two years ago and whose dorm room I never even saw while in college, starts talking to me and FH (separately) about how excited she is for our wedding and how it is going to be one wedding she knows she will not forget. I was floored. I couldn't even believe that she would think I would even invite her. I mean, I couldn't even remember her last name for the first 20 minutes while I was talking to her. I kept trying to like steer the convo away from that and like be careful not to verify that she was invited (cause she is not) but it was really difficult because she kept going on and on. Has this happened to anyone else? It's so bizzare! Guess she'll find out in a year when I don't send an invitation...

yeah, just dont send her an invite, she will probably forget about it in a year esp if you dont talk to her on a regular basis

that happened to me too.. I was invited to my mom’s friend’s daughter wedding.. which I did not end up going to.. didn’t really know/like the girl.. and in her thank you.. she writes sorry that you miss yours.. but we will be there for yours..WHAT?!?!?!?

My FIL's invited a ton of people to our engagement party that will definitely not be invited to the wedding. No room...i have no idea who these people are and neither does FH. One thing im peeved about.

this happened to me too. an old neighbor who i never got along with and was never even friends with, told my old roomate who is my moh that she can't wait for my wedding because it's gonna be so much fun. i was totally shocked, it would never even occur to me that she would ever be invited. she was always pretty rude to me and i haven't seen her in over a year. who knows what she's gonna think when she's not invited, but what can i do?
