we did it ourselves....with a Budget truck and that was STILL $1300!!!!

Thanks. we were considering doing it ourselves. we have friends in VA that we can beg to help us UNLOAD once we get there. It'll just be a b*tch moving from here since we live in a third floor walkup. BLEH!

We moved out of state to Georgia. We used Atlantic Movers in Port Jefferson Station. they were very good and I highly recommend them.

Paul Arpin moved us from LI to Pensacola, Fl in 2002 and I highly recommend them.
Verity moved my parents from LI to NC in 2004 and brought me some things down to Florida and they sucked, misplaced some things as well as almost backed out on bringing stuff to me because gas went up and they wanted more money and decided to hold my Grandparents dining room set hostage until we got lawyers involved.
