People Who Never Have an Un-SelfConscious Moment (Vent)

People Who Never Have an Un-SelfConscious Moment (Vent)

Last night I went to a party (yes, in this weather!) and saw some old friends from high school.

I spent like forever with this couple who could not stop talking about themselves.

I would ask questions and make comments and give congratulations and offer insights and they never asked me a question about myself. Not one. It was so all about them! One of our mutual friends just had a baby and I told them and they said 'We can't wait to start a family'. I was like don't you want to know the baby's name? Don't you want to say how great for them? (I didn't say that, just thought it).

This one goes out to the chronically self-absorbed: GET OVER YOURSELF!

And to think with all the upcoming holiday parties, these types are bound to cross our paths! Brace yourself Ladies!

I cannot stand people like this. And I'm too nice to say anything to them. I usually just let them talk and think to myself...'what a bunch of inconsiderate arseholes'

Ugh..I completely feel ya! These are the same bufoons that will send out holiday letters telling everyone about how wonderful they are all year.

We ran into a couple like this recently at a wake (yes...a wake!). They were married one week after us, and the girl could not stop yapping about her oh so elegant overpriced affair, her 5G gown....not ONCE asking us how our day went.

Best thing to do is yes them to death and walk away.
