what experience have you had? have you ever sold anything??
i check it all the time, but the only time i've ever contacted people was w/ apartments when my parents were moving (and those people were all fine).
i have a ton of clothes that i want to sell... they were just expensive so i dont want to completely donate them,, but i dont want to have to deal w/ shipping with ebay.
Soooooo i was going to put them on craigslist, but i was curious if anyone had any problems with weirdos on that site or not.

Craigslist definitely has it share of weirdos. But it isn't too bad.
Craigslist is great for selling furniture. Something that just isn't practical to sell on ebay because of shipping.

i have so many clothes to get rid of that i cringe at the idea of shipping all of them, but im not all up on meeting some random person from CL, but i'll figure it out
with the apartment stuff, they were all normal, but i feel like with smaller things, it might be different

Might ebay be better? There are a lot of weirdos on that site. I dated a few of them, pre DH, of course.

it would definately be better in the 'not having to deal with weirdo's' area.... but i have alot of things that i just want to get rid of ASAP... i was even going to post here if anyone wanted them i usually donate all of my clothes, but some of them were really expensive, so i didnt want to completely give them away (i know thats mean though )

My brother and my friend both found homes on craigslist. I have another friend who have been on dates through craigslist. I agree that you can find weirdo on Craigslist but my friend has been lucky not to run into any.

i use it all the time! i found my aprtment on there and found homes for the puppies there too. you can weed out the weirdos.

it's a great resourse. i have sold and bought tons of stuff. There will always be people who don't show up or whatever, but for the most part, i sold most of my old apt before i moved off craigslist.

I have sold my DHs truck (jeep) and a lot of furniture on craigslist (before we got married & moved in together we had a lot of crap to get rid of).
People came by the house to pick up the stuff and I had no problems.
