people who went to greece & crete: ferry and bus reservations
we're going to athens, then chania and iraklion in crete, and finally santorini.
ok, so I booked ALMOST everything. That includes the flight to athens, the flight to crete, the flight from santorini to athens and all hotels.
What I didn't plan out yet: bus ride from chania to iraklion in crete ferry ride from iraklion, crete to santorini
should I book ferry seats to santorini NOW online, or let it go until we reach iraklion?
Should I (and CAN I?) book the bus trip within crete right now?
I hear conflicting things. some travel guides say it is more confusing to book online, and they might lose the reservations... others say it's much easier to book online...
your input is appreciated!!! TIA

I think you should book your ferry/bus seats when you are in Greece. Do you have those numbers to call when you are in Greece? I am going to Kefalonia (Ionian) this summer and I just book the bus and ferry rides a couple of days before I leave for there from Greece. I am also going to Mykonos so I will prob book the little airplane or ferry a couple of days before. When are you going to Crete? Summer?
