ie: you can see your co-workers sitting in the cubicles. Do you find your co-workers are loud on the phone? When making personal calls? I really do NOT want to hear my co-worker (guess which one!! ) talk about the results of some test with his doctor OUT LOUD. Damn. Keep your voice down. I can't help but overhear.
And since I overheard (couldn't help it thank you very much Mr. Loudmouth) why is it that you refuse to give out our company's name to our insurance company when asking why his flex plan claim was not accepted. Um...it's not like they can't figure it out without your help, it just makes their jobs easier if you just tell them.
God he's such an idiot.
(sorry I know I am brutal but I really don't like this guy. At. All.)

Office Space is my FAVORITE movie. I can watch it a gazillion times and I laugh. There is a character for each person in my office here. Guess who is the one who tries to sneak out and not work late? THAT WOULD BE ME!

First, thanks for reminding me I have to fax something to my flex plan.
Second, infected finger nail or something?
My office location in NYC just moved & have low walls - I would die!! As it is, everyone around me is a bunch of big mouth whiners!

Re: People who work in 'low' cubicles...
I'm lucky in that I have had my own office for the last 3 yrs (windowless but still private) - I used to be in one of those low cubicles years ago and hated it.
I did like being in a high cube in the back - that was at my last job - you could converse with your neighbor but no one could see you really. I get lonely in my office sometimes- I call it my dark hole.
Our offices are moving and there is talk that it will be all cubes - icky. They better be high walled ones or I will be very annoyed.

Re: People who work in 'low' cubicles...
My office has the very low cubes-standing next to them they come up to my waist. But I was recently promoted so I got a window cube with a lot of privacy. So now I don't really hear anyone's conversation and they don't hear mine.
