People who work in Midtown and go in thru Penn what are your plans for this week as far as commuting????

I heard that they are closing the 1 and 9 and ACE in Penn - is this true does anyone know?

I would watch NY1 or check their site. They were covering the closings, etc. all day. I work at 7th and 37th!

I heard they would be open, that there would be no subway closings. I hope they are open

The subways are running. The only exits that will be open will be 7th and 32nd and 7th and 34th sts.

All subways in Penn are open. I just got to work, and I had no problems at all with the commute. My train was on time (what a shocker!), and no additional stops. The train was so empty though that I had my own seat!

I commute in on NJ transit (railroad). I take it to Newark and then switch to the NY bound train. This week I was planning on taking it to Newark and picking up the PATH so I could avoid Penn all together; but it wasn't that bad, seems many many people stayed home or are on vacation. And MSNBC is camped outside my building. Who is the blond haired lady on MSNBC - I saw her getting her makeup put on..lol

I took the subways on sat and sun, and they were running fine. The only thing that I think they are changing, is that you cant walk INTO penn station from the subway, but you can walk to the subway if you are already in Penn Dont quote me on this, but I believe this is what they were doing on saturday and sunday.

Not looking foward to commuting to work this week on the subways..My only way to get to work
